Dear USI Patrons;
As you have probably heard or read, Contra Costa Health Services has issued an Order for all individuals to shelter at their place of residence as of 12:01 AM on March 17, 2020 through 12:00 AM April 8th, 2020 in regards to the outbreak of COVID-19 Virus aka Coronavirus. This requires that United Sportsmen, Inc. follow the order and cease ALL business operations and cancel all of the five USI Sportsmen’s Clubs events that are held on USI property during the required time period. The five individual club’s will address their member’s wants and needs to reschedule events when the shelter in place is lifted by Contra Costa Health Services. To review the Shelter in Place Order issued by Contra Costa Health Services please go to:
We at USI want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your patronage and loyalty over many years of enjoyment people have experienced at USI, the past few weekends we had re-opened the “remodeled” public rifle and pistol range to club members to great success and enjoyment. Management will be working on an agenda during the next few weeks for a re-opening plan to all facilities when the county shelter-in-place is lifted. The USI calendar will still show events that we are canceling during this shelter in place time frame, then patrons can see when it may be rescheduled by USI clubs. The USI website will be most accurate source of information when USI will reopen.
These are challenging times, but we are a proud and resilient shooting sports community that has dealt with past emergencies and we as Americans will persevere with this one, the shooting sports community is very familiar with dealing with issues head-on.
We wish you and your families good health and happiness and look forward to seeing you at United Sportsmen once the order has been lifted.
With all good wishes,
United Sportsmen Inc.
