Message from the President...

Thank you for visiting Bay Point Rod and Gun web site. We are committed to making your experience with our club enjoyable for you and your entire family. Our club has a lot to offer the outdoorsman whether it's the shooting sports such as rifle and pistol or trap, skeet and five stand. There is also an area to shoot bow and arrow. We offer several competitions throughout the year that include all of the shooting sports and we are in the process of setting up a couple of fishing trips this year also. Please keep an eye on the calendar of events for upcoming competitions and trips.

For those of you who join our club we offer several discounts. Trap, skeet and five stand shooters shoot at a reduced rate over non-members and if you go on a fishing charter the club will reimburse you for part of the cost. NRA members save on club dues also. We also offer awards for those who like to hunt for the biggest buck, bird, fish or whatever.

Our Mission

Bay Point Rod and Gun Club is a non-profit organization committed to fostering, promoting and perpetuating the sports of archery, rifle, pistol and shotgun shooting.  We also promote and encourage the proper use of first aid, safe handling of firearms, conservation of all natural resources and wildlife, and support the state and federal fish and game laws.

Bay Point Rod and Gun Club welcomes the general public to visit us during our meetings. Our meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday of the month, with dinner beginning about 6:30 pm and the club meeting beginning about 7:30 pm.

Club Profile

Bay Point Rod and Gun Club is organized to promote conservation and the shooting sports.  Our members fish, hunt and shoot. We are outdoor enthusiasts who wish to share our adventures with others. We sponsor several shooting events throughout the year, including skeet, trap and rifle shoots.  We currently have over 300 members and we meet the first Tuesday of each month.

Bay Point Rod and Gun Club is one of four clubs which make up United Sportsmen, Inc. (USI).  The USI facility is located at 4700 Evora Road, Concord, California.   

Facilities

The USI facility includes:

• 50 and 100 yard rifle range

• 15 and 25 yard pistol range

• Classroom facilities

• Skeet, trap and Five Stand Sporting Clays, all with lighting for evening shoots

• Multi-Purpose Range

• Five Bay Action Pistol Range
